I am a female that suffers from hereditary male pattern baldness. I was introduced to the Kamitek microfibres around 2016. They have been a great discovery and I've told anyone that I know with thinning hair about them. They will try out different combinations of colors on you to see what works best as opposed to going to Shoppers and buying a can that is the wrong color! With thinning getting worse and the back of my head basically bald, I got a hair transplant in Oct/21. Unfortunately only around 3,000 hairs were able to be harvested (usually 5-7,000), but the hair grew in the area at the back of my head. I still need to use the hair fibres...but they at least have something to attach to. I also use the laser cap, have PRP treatments on the area every 6 months and so far the hair loss has been manageable. It will be my lifelong "project". Any issues I have had (no business is perfect) have always been resolved to my satisfaction. The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I have no problem recommending this business for your hairloss needs. It has been life changing for me.

In 2005 I was a very unhappy 38-year-old man. I was intimidated by my baldness. At some point a relative told me she had read an ad about Regency Hair; a hair replacement company in Ottawa and she urged me to inquire. Without a doubt that phone call changed my life.

After a few years of trying various hair products, with little to no success, I decided to research hair loss clinics and visited three. Regency Hair is where I felt the most comfortable and welcomed. I got the sense that they cared and really wanted to help me. In the spring of 2016, I did my hair transplant for my hairline and temples. I had a great experience. The staff made sure that I was well prepared before and during my procedure. I was so comfortable that I fell asleep during the session. One of the reasons I had originally hesitated to do the hair transplant was the scaring. I had seen so many images on the internet of horrible scarring that I was worried, but with Regency Hair I felt reassured that I was in the hands of professionals. When I got home from my surgery my wife did not even notice the scar! I would recommend Regency Hair to any man that finds his self-confidence affected by hair loss.

After my initial transplant, I was surprised to find there was minimal discomfort and even less with the second procedure. The post-operative care at Regency Hair was above reproach.

I consider myself quite knowledgeable about what options are out there for the people, who like me have experienced hair loss. I have 20 years experience with hair loss programs.
